Kim grew up in Jarvisburg, NC, and was baptized at the Jarvisburg Church of Christ in 1986, where she has been an active member ever since. She taught at Currituck County Public Schools for 28 years before retiring in 2019. She then served as JCC's Administrative Assistant from 2020 to 2024 until becoming JCA Principal. K

He is a graduate of Mid-Atlantic Christian University, earning a B.A. in Youth and Family Ministries. He met his wife, Abby, at college, and they have been married since 2019; they have one son

Mrs. Ingram is originally from Virginia Beach and has lived with her husband in Currituck for 30 years. Both of her children were baptized at Jarvisburg Church of Christ, where she has been a member since 1998. She, along with two dedicated church members, founded Jarvisburg Christian Academy over 15 years ago. Kelly taught middle and high school students at JCA for 6 years. Before that, she ran a home daycare for five years, was a substitute teacher in the Currituck Public School system, and a volunteer teacher’s aide for primarily kindergarten and first-grade students at Griggs Elementary.

Ms. Alexis was born and raised in southern Currituck County and still lives there with her family including two young children. In her youth, she spent many years at JCC which led to her baptism in November of 2014. Alexis graduated from Purdue Global University with her Bachelor's of Science in Health Science in 2024. As a new teacher, she brings a fresh, innovative approach to the classroom and is committed to creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment that fosters critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration in order to prepare her students for success in an increasingly complex and interconnected world. Her goal is to inspire a love of learning and of Christ that extends far beyond the classroom and to empower her students to become compassionate, critical thinkers, and creative individuals who are equipped to make a positive difference in their communities.

Mrs. O'Sullivan has a long history and passion for Art. She has previously taught youth art at Scarborough Faire in Duck and the Historic Whalehead Museum in Corolla. Mrs. O'Sullivan also has professional experience in photography, videography, post-production, and advertising. She loves teaching art and stage production to children as well as a passion for teaching Jesus.
